Grand Canyon Trip
Lunch and Dinner Arrangements
For our field trip to the Grand Canyon on May 17th, we will be gone all day. Therefore, we will need to prepare for both lunch and dinner. For lunch, students may either bring a lunch from home or purchase a sack lunch from the cafeteria. For dinner, students may either bring dinner from home, or purchase one of the meals from Chik-Fil-A in Flagstaff. Please be sure to indicate your choices for both lunch and dinner, as well as contact information so that all pertinent information may be found in one place. Please return the slip along with any cash due no later than May 4th. There will be no change given. Any extra change will go towards a snack and water fund for the bus

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the Grand Canyon Field Trip?
The Grand Canyon Field Trip 2019 is set for Friday, May 17, 2019,
Can I register to be a chaperone?
We will not be officially taking in chaperones until we have all of our funds for the Grand Canyon trip. Once the fund-raising is complete we will formally select chaperones. However, please express your interest in this trip, so I can figure out if a lottery system must be implemented.
Can we drive separately for the Grand Canyon field trip?
No. Under no circumstance are we allowed to release students to another individual that traveled separately from our group.
No siblings can accompany us on our trip.
How will meals be handled on this field trip?
As we assess the unique dietary needs of our students, we will be considering a few fast food options for dinner on the evening of the Grand Canyon field trip. The past few years we have ordered our food from Chik-Fil-A. If you would like to help out with the field trip by contacting different fast-serve restaurants in the Flagstaff area, and getting quotes for meal options, we'd love the extra help, and would be happy to give you hours for doing so.

Grand Canyon Fundraising
The Grand Canyon Trip is a wonderful adventure that our students have gotten to go on the past two years. The only way that we have made this trip a possibility has been through tax credit donations. Our goal, for two classes is $4000 of tax credit donations between the two classes. While we have reached this goal, our school can always use the tax credit donation dollars, AND it gets you hours for volunteering!
